ALSO VERY IMPORTANT: The OpenROV Kit is a perfect introduction into the world of underwater robotics and exploration, but at this point it is very much a product for makers/developers. It's a blast to play with, but you should be ready to tinker with it. The kit involves soldering, gluing, and wiring of electronics. By limiting the number of kits, we can work with the community to improve the design and troubleshoot problems. Our goal is to widen the net of the community and work together to democratize underwater exploration. If you decide to go your own route and use your own materials/plans, we're equally ecstatic.
